Yuma Green Valley Prescott Flagstaff Arizona State Senior Olympic Games The Arizona Senior Olympics (ASO), Arizona’s
premier competition for seniors, was founded by the City of Phoenix in
1981. The 29th Annual edition of the Arizona state games will be held in Phoenix in February 18 through March 19 of 2012. For more information call the ASO office at 602/274-7742. The Tucson Senior Olympics Festival is NOT a qualifying competition to advance to either the Arizona Senior Olympics or the National Senior Games. National Senior Games The National Senior Games Association (NSGA) was originally
formed in 1985 as the U. S. National Senior Sports Organization. The first U. S. National Senior Sports Classic took place in 1987, and has continued on a biennial basis ever since. To participate in the 2013 Senior Games, you must first qualify through a NSGA State Qualifying Games in 2012. The 2013 Summer National Senior Games will be held July 21–August 5, in Cleveland, Ohio. To compete in the 2013 National Games you must be 50 years old during the qualifying year (2012). For more information call the NSGA office at 225/766-6316.
