  Basketball Registration entry dates are October 22-December 30.
Team captain/manager must submit the following items by the entry deadline of Sunday, December 30

  • Completed Team Entry and Waiver Form (one completed form per team)
  • Waiver Form must be signed by all team members. Please ask all team members to read the Agreement, Release, and Waiver of Liability before signing.
  • Total payment = team entry fee + additional item purchases (pins, t-shirts)

Team Entry Fees:

  • Baseball, $170
  • Basketball 3 0n 3, $60
  • Bocce, $24
  • Softball, $150
  • Volleyball, $100
Team captain/manager should keep a copy of the completed Team Entry and Waiver Form for his/her files.
Age group is determined by the age of the youngest team member as of Friday, January 18, 2008. (Exception: Softball players must turn 50 years of age in 2008.) *Players must present valid picture I.D. before start of competition.
Maximum player limits—
  • Baseball, 15 players
  • Basketball, 6 players
  • Softball, 15 players
  • Volleyball, 10 players
Changes to rosters may be made. Report any roster changes to the Senior Olympic office as soon as possible.
Pre-purchased t-shirts and pins will be available during the Activity Fair/Torch Lighting Ceremony at Reid Park/DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center, Saturday, January 19 from 9am-2pm. If you are unable to attend the Activity Fair/Torch Lighting Ceremony, you may pick-up your t-shirts and pins at the Senior Olympic Festival office located in the Southwest District between January 22-31 between 9am and 4pm. NOTE: T-shirts will only be available at Opening Ceremonies, event sites, and at the Southwest District.

Driving directions to the Senior Olympics office—from Park and Ajo travel 1 block south on Ajo to Palmdale. Turn east on Palmdale, follow Palmdale around until it becomes Santa Rita. The Southwest District Senior Olympic office is on the right. Look for the American flag!
Any underpaid balance must be submitted upon notification.
